IX. Gifted/Advanced Content
- Students who have previously been identified as gifted will be placed in GATE Science, Social Studies, and Language Arts
- Students who meet the Advanced Content Criteria linked above will be placed in Advanced Content Courses for the qualifying subject(s).
- Students who are not Gifted Identified or students who have not been placed in Advanced Content courses may enter an advanced course if he or she meets the criteria at the following points during the school year:
- Fall, Winter, or Spring MAP
- After the conclusion of Gifted Testing
- DLI students who are Gifted Identified will be placed in GATE Science (6th grade) and GATE Social Studies (7th and 8th Grades).
